College Street Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas is located on the north east corner of North College Street and White Avenue in McKinney, Texas just minutes from Allen, Plano, Frisco, Princeton, Prosper, Celina, Farmersville, Anna, and Melissa. We meet at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM every Sunday. We welcome all visitors to our worship services.
College Street Church of Christ strives to worship God in spirit and in truth as taught in the Bible in John 4:23 (But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.). College Street Church of Christ uses the New Testament as our guide in worship and all aspects of our daily lives. Matt. 5:17-18 and Col. 2:14 below clearly show that The Old Testament (Moses Law) was fulfilled thru Jesus Christ and is no longer our guide in serving God.
Matt. 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matt. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The Apostle Paul told "the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse" that Christ blotted out the Old Testament nailing it to his cross.
Col. 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
